VIDEO: SA pastor 'heals' woman’s ‘vaginal pimples’ with his shoe

What won't we see in this end time?!. HMMM!

A video uploaded on the Facebook page of Pastor Zendile Andries November of Victorious Faith Ministries, South Africa, shows the pastor asking one of his female congregants whether she has “pimples” on her vagina. When she said ‘yes’‚ a man removes November’s shoe and the pastor is seen handing it to the woman to place between her thighs. She then suddenly falls to the floor with the shoe between her thighs.

Another female member is then shown saying that she went to the bathroom with the woman and that she is now healed and will finally be able to sleep with her husband. The woman is crying and there are cheers all round as the pastor tells her to rush home – meaning home to her husband as she is healed.

Another PDP Senator decamps to APC

Senator Nelson Effiong, representing Akwa Ibom South, has cross-carpeted from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to the All Progressives Congress, APC. The lawmaker announced his defection to the ruling party on the floor of the red chambers at today’s plenary.

Effiong, who cited party crisis as his reason for defection, said,“Over the past one year this party has disintegrated; because of the crisis in the party, I have decided to resign from the PDP and join the APC.”

In his reaction, the senate Minority leader, Godswill Akpabio, frowned at the decision, saying the lawmaker has automatically lost his senate seat because he became a senator under the platform of the PDP.

‎Akpabio warned that the party will contend Effiong’s continued stay in the senate in court.

Recall that a senator from Ondo south, Omoyele Omogunwa, had in November 2016, defected from the PDP to the APC.

12 year old girl develops location app to help lost children

Tomisin Ogunnubi, 12-year-old girl from Lagos has developed an app to solve a problem which she had noticed in her community. Tomisin finished up the development of her Android mobile tracking app, My Location, just a few weeks ago.

The motivation behind the app was to help lost children find their way back home.

How it was developed:
Tomision developed her app under the guidence of an Information and Communications Technology partnership, between her school, Vivian Fowler Memorial College for Girls, and New Horizons Computer Learning Center. Here, Tomision was able to learn the necessary skills and knowledge needed to develop her app.

How it works:
The “current location” setting on the app enables the child to see exactly where they are, as well as highlighting the neighboring streets around them. The other main functionality of the app will allow the child to save a location such as their house or school and it will direct them to their desired location.

The My Locator App also features a button, which when pressed will alert the Lagos State Emergency Services. The app will call the services as well as show the child’s location so that they can be helped.

The app is available for free download.

iPhone 8 may feature advanced facial recognition powered by a new laser sensor

Guys, be sure to remember you read it here first ;)

With the iPhone 7 still winning the hearts of many round the world and people literally going broke to just to own one, Apple's next flagship the iPhone 8 could incorporate some form of facial/gesture recognition, according to a research note by Cowen and Company.

The report speculates several features the upcoming iPhone could include and noted that the facial/gesture recognition would be supported by a new laser sensor and an infrared sensor mounted near the front-facing camera.

Although gesture recognition is widely prevalent in many Android phones – like OnePlus and Motorola models – facial recognition technology was only introduced by Samsung on the Galaxy Note 7, which had to be eventually discontinued. While there may be other techniques for facial recognition, looking at the camera sensor prediction, the iPhone 8 could include iris scanning technology like the Note 7 do detect faces. It may even go beyond the eyes, but not much is known about the technology as yet.

The note reiterates an earlier rumour that iPhone 8 would support wireless charging. Similarly, it states that the display could be Oled measuring 5.8-inch with curved or wrapped around the sides. According to reports, the new display panels could be supplied by Samsung. The phone will not be flexible like Samsung and LG's foldable devices planned for the end-2017.

Further, the home button is slated to be given a miss on the upcoming flagship, and like the iPhone 7 range, the headphone jack would also be excluded.

It is also reported that the device would be launched in September.

PHOTO: Man raped at knifepoint by 17yr old girl

Wonders as they say will never end. We hear of men raping girls or a girl being gang-raped by men but its very rare hearing of a man being a victim of rape. Well, you'd be surprised what you're about to read.

Lestina Marie Smith, 17, is accused of attacking the man in Saginaw, central Michigan, and forcing him to take part in both vaginal and oral sex. She is accused of pinning him to the ground at knife-point before carrying out the assault. She was arraigned on Tuesday, charged with two counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct and is next due in court on February 3.

If convicted, the 17-year-old could be sentenced to life in prison. She was refused bail and is being held in Saginaw County Jail.

How a girl this pretty, who most men would love to have as a girlfriend, would do this or even think about it is beyond me. Even if na "konji".

God's Word For Today: Refuse to settle

‘They set out…to go to Canaan. But when they came to Haran, they settled there.’ - Genesis 11:31

Are you pressing ‘on towards the goal to win the prize for which God has called [you]’ (Philippians 3:14 NIV 2011 Edition), or have you ‘settled’ along the way?

God made a pact with Abraham - one that continues to influence the modern world. A lesser-known fact is that years earlier Abraham’s father, Terah, ‘set out…to go to Canaan’, the land of abundance where God later called Abraham. But Terah never made it: ‘When they came to Haran, they settled there.’ No question, it couldn’t have been easy travelling hundreds of miles across rough terrain with flocks, herds, children, and servants. Can you imagine the sheer logistics! Remember, there were no professional movers to pack and load your stuff! Finally Terah decided they couldn’t go any farther, so they settled where they were comfortable.

One pastor adds: ‘I wonder how many times we do the same thing? We have a big dream…to excel in our careers…as parents…and in our walk with God. We get started, but things get difficult and achieving our goal doesn’t happen as quickly as we hoped. Perhaps similar to Abraham’s father we say, “Let’s just settle here. It’s not really what we wanted, but it’s good enough.” Don’t fall into that trap. You were made for more than “good enough”…Don’t settle for a little love and joy, a bit of peace and contentment, or a small helping of happiness…Pull up stakes, pack your tents, get your belongings, and start moving forward. Enlarge your vision. You may have had a delay, but…you can begin again.’

My Husband removed my womb without my knowledge – Wife tells Court

A housewife on Thursday asked an Ibadan Customary Court to dissolve her five-year-old marriage because her husband rendered her barren by conniving with doctors to remove her womb without her consent.

“My lord, Musiliu has systematically rendered me barren because I can no longer conceive due to the removal of my womb during a caesarean surgery when I was trying to deliver my first child. While in the hospital, he should have informed any of my relatives that for me to have a safe delivery, my womb must be removed. It is not until recently that Musiliu wanted to be having sexual intercourse with me that he directed me to go for family planning. Then, medical personnel told me that I no longer have womb. Worst still, Musiliu is a drunkard and insensitive in all aspect of life”.

However, Musiliu Raji, who opposed the divorce, did not deny the allegation leveled against him but pleaded with the court to help keep his relationship with Kafilat.

“My lord, it is true that her womb was removed but the doctor informed me that her womb had already been damaged and the only option was total removal for her safe delivery. The doctor also advised me not to let her know until over a year when she could bear the pain”, said Musiliu who lives with Kafilat at Ologuneru area of Ibadan.

Dissolving the marriage, the court President, Mr Henric Agbaje, held that it was clear that there was no more love between the couple. He awarded custody of their four-year-old son to Kafilat and directed Musiliu to provide N4,000 monthly allowance for his upkeep in addition to being responsible for the child’s education.

One Sodiq Fatai has been allegedly hacked to death by a man, identified only as Asunmo, during a scuffle over a prostitute in Lagos State.

Both men were drinking at a bar in the White Sand area of Ijora Badia when Asunmo challenged Fatai over his relationship with the lady, whom he (Asunmo) was dating but Fatai, a cab driver, had denied the allegation. The state Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, SP Dolapo Badmos confirmed the incident, saying the duo had a disagreement over a woman. She said, “Asunmo suspected that Fatai was dating his girlfriend and he confronted him. Although the man denied, he attacked and killed him. The woman in question is a prostitute.

CBN bars banks from virtual currency transactions

The Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, Tuesday, banned banks from all transactions in bitcoin and other virtual currencies. A circular signed by the apex bank’s director, financial policy and ‎regulation department, Kelvin Amugo, stated that the move was necessitated by money laundering and terrorism financing risks inherent in operations of virtual currencies.

“The emergence of Virtual Currencies (VCs) has attracted investments in payments infrastructure that provides new methods of transmitting value over the internet. The Central Bank therefore advised banks to ensure that they do not use, hold, and transact in virtual currencies. The CBN stressed that virtual currencies such as Bitcoin, Ripples, Monero, Litecoin, Dogecion, Onecoin and similar products are not legal tenders in Nigeria, thus any bank or institution that transacts in
such business does so at its own risk.

The apex bank’s directive is coming after the Securities and Exchange Commission, SEC, issued a warning against virtual currencies.

Nigerian Military mistakenly bombs IDP Camp, Many Dead

A Nigerian fighter jet misfired and killed some soldiers, aid workers of the International Committee of Red Cross (ICRC), the Medicines Sans Frontiers and civilians in Kala Balge in Borno State.
The incident was confirmed on Tuesday to journalists in Maiduguri by the Theatre Commander of Operation Lafiya Dole, Maj.-Gen. Lucky Irabor.

Although the military said they were awaiting the death toll, the Medicine Sans Frontiers (MSF), also known as Doctors Without Borders, said that at least 52 people were killed after the fighter jet accidentally dropped a bomb on an Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs’) Camp. MSF officials, who were present at the Rann Camp in Borno State when the incident occurred, said 102 people were injured.

In a statement made available to journalists in Maiduguri, MSF said that it is offering first aid to the 120 injured persons in Rann.
MSF’s Director of Operations, Jean-Clément Cabrol, said: “This large-scale attack on vulnerable people who have already fled from extreme violence is shocking and unacceptable.
“The safety of civilians must be respected. We are urgently calling on all parties to ensure the facilitation of medical evacuations by air or road for survivors who are in need of emergency care.”
Earlier, Irabor had said that the military authorities were still awaiting the total casualty figures.

He said that the strike was authorized by the Army following reports that Boko Haram insurgents had regrouped in a particular location in the state.

Breaking News!: Earthquakes hit central Italy

Three strong earthquakes have been felt in central Italy, with people in Rome saying they experienced the tremors, local media say. The first quake measured a magnitude of 5.4 and was 60 miles north of Rome, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre said. Two more of similar magnitude struck 50 minutes later around the same region and was felt in Rome, local media has reported.

The Metro in Rome has been evacuated, following the second quake after people reported feeling tremors there. The quakes are the latest to hit the region after 300 people died in August when the town of Amatrice was flattened. Two further quakes rattled the region in October, with the most powerful measuring 6.5 magnitude.

The latest follows 36 hours of continuous snowfall in areas close to Amatrice and another badly-hit mountain town, Norcia. As a result of last year's quakes many residents have been evacuated to temporary accommodation outside the earthquake-prone zone along Italy's mountainous spine.

VIDEO: Olympic Silver Medallist Amir Khan sex tape leaked on major porn site

A sex tape featuring Amir Khan has reportedly been leaked to a major porn site. An explicit video is believed to show the Olympic silver medallist performing a sex act while on Skype with a model. Reports suggest the tape was made after Khan married his wife Faryl Makhdoom, 25, in 2013. Although it’s thought the woman in the footage is from Arizona and first met the boxer back in 2010.

Amir Khan and wife, Faryl
Representatives for Khan have not confirmed the claims, although an unnamed source told The Sun: ‘This is a mortifying moment for Amir. He’s a Muslim boxer and his personal life is under the microscope right now, so the timing couldn’t be worse. ‘There had been rumours about these videos for years but now anyone who wants to view them on the internet for free can do so.’ Rumours of a sex tape come at a difficult time for Khan and his wife. Mum-of-one Faryl has accused Khan’s family of being violent and bullying her. She claimed Khan’s sister Tabinda pulled her hair and slapped her head while she was pregnant with daughter Lamaisah. While Khan’s father dismissed the claims, saying Faryl was ‘very evil’.

God's Word For Today: God’s got your back!

‘God…will be your rear guard.’ - Isaiah 52:12

Not only does God go ahead of you, the Bible says He’s ‘your rear guard’.

One author writes: ‘In Israelite campaigns into the wilderness and across the Promised Land, soldiers had a vanguard and a rear guard. The vanguard was comprised of scouts who went ahead to explore…and suggest a plan to move forward. The rear guard stayed behind to pick up the pieces and insure they didn’t leave anything valuable behind…God is my rear guard…I keep moving along, like you do, sometimes living at too fast a pace, and doing things incompletely. But God follows up and finishes what I’ve done in a halfway measure…If you were to look back, how many tasks would you find incomplete because the urgency of some new task called you away before the first one was finished? If you’ve done your best, God will do the rest! I’ve talked to parents about their teenagers. They said, “If only we had…” and I gently remind them they did their best. Now they must trust the rear-guard action of God to finish the job, pick up the broken pieces, and mend them into something wonderful and beautiful.’

Has God given you a job to do? ‘Fix your eyes on what lies before you’ right now, not six or twelve months hence. ‘Don’t get sidetracked’ (Proverbs 4:27 NLT). That’s particularly challenging in an age of so many distractions. Remember, the strength of the Sender is more important than the strength of the one being sent.

The word for you today is: God’s got your back!

Abuja Airport Closure: "Reschedule your flights or use Skype, E-mails" - Fashola tells Nigerians

Babatunde Fashola, the Minister of Power, Works and Housing has advised Nigerians to either reschedule their flights or use technological alternatives during the proposed closure of the Abuja airport.

Fashola stated this while briefing the Senate on the proposed closure of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja today, Tuesday, January 17, 2016.

"This is the time for all of us to adjust. You can reschedule your flights to either before or after the proposed renovation of the airport," Fashola said. "Also, technology has made meetings very easy, there is Skype, E-mails... There are other alternatives."

The minister noted that Nigeria is not the first nation in the world to completely shut down its airport for maintenance purposes. Fashola said: "From my research, I found out the Nigeria is not the first country to shut down its airport for repairs. The Mumbai Airport in India, Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Kenya, Sri Lanka's Colombo Airport was also shut down."

Senators had rejected the planned closure of the Abuja airport during the Senate plenary session on Tuesday, January 10, 2017, after a motion was raised by Senator Hope Uzodinma but Fashola maintained that the proposed renovation of the Abuja airport would safeguard the lives and properties of Nigerians and investors.

A funny explanation of how "Naija" babes fall in love

Nigerian women have suffered sha!. LOL!

So, I stumbled on this and thought I shouldn't laugh alone. Read what a Twitter user, Daddy Yo, thinks are the signs a Nigerian woman likes a man:

1. How Nigerian girls flirt
They call you 'Ode' [fool] but"this is not an insult," he writes, "it’s actually a Nigerian girl’s way of flirting with you"
2. How they ask if you are single
If she says "'I don’t want your girlfriend to come and break my head o.' This is just her way of asking if you have a girlfriend."
3. How to know they want to visit you
According to Daddy Yo, When a Nigerian says "'Is there light in your house?' [it] means they want to come over to your house and hang out, but they’re looking for an excuse."
play
4. Their romantic words
The term 'Big head' is top on the list of their most romantic words. "Sometimes, instead of calling you Ode, they’ll use ‘big head’ as a term of endearment."
5. How they say they miss you
"You can’t even call somebody." This one is a direct code for saying they miss having you around.
Another way to do this is by saying "you just forgot about me."
6. Queens of reverse psychology
If a Naija babe says "'go away jare', if you know what’s good for you, better stay. Nigerian girls are the queens of reverse psychology"
play
When a Nigerian babe says 'you cannot call abi,' best believe she misses you a lot (Classic FM)
7. Asking for a date
Naija babes will ask "won’t you come and take me out?'' Daddy Yo tweets.
According to him that's their "way of saying, ‘when are we going on a date?’"
8. How to know she cares about you
Have you eaten? If a Nigerian girl asks you if you have eaten, best know she really cares about you.
play
When a Nigerian woman says she hates you, she actually means she likes you (Pinterest)
9. How to know she really likes you
Ultimately, if she says "I hate you... then she’s head over heels in love with you." the twitter user adds.
10. When she wants to have sex...
Another user, Mista Sola, adds that when a Naija wants to have sex with you she'll stylishly  tell you by saying, "you ehhhnnn... you nor dey try o..."
According to him, this means "knacks [sex] is available..." and you have to "hurry while offer lasts."

Hahaha! That last one though. How true is this? What are your thoughts?

'Nigeria's oil will be useless in 20 years,' Vice President says

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has said Nigeria must move fast to diversify its economy else it will end in regret. He said the days of crude oil as Nigeria's major source of revenue are numbered.

"We must be smart and act intelligently and fast," he said.

The vice president stated this on Monday, January 16, when he visited Gbaramatu Kingdom in Delta State as part of his peace mission to the Niger Delta region. After meeting behind closed doors with leaders of Gbaramatu at the palace of the Pere of Gbaramatu kingdom, Oboro Gbaraun II Aketekpe, Osinbajo while speaking to a large crowd told the people that the future of the oil industry is full of enormous challenges.

He  added that the critical areas the federal government is bothered about is infrastructure, disclosing that in the 2017 budget, "we have provided for the commencement of the Lagos–Calabar rail way which will go through Delta."

He further said that the PAN Niger Delta Forum (PANDEF) has submitted a detailed list of 16 issues for dialogue that will help in ascertaining key development priorities, noting that "it is an important working document that represents an excellent road map to the future of Niger Delta."

In his ruling, the Magistrate, Mr A. A. Adefulire, granted them bail in the sum of 500,000 Naira each, with one surety each in like sum. The case was then adjourned till March 9 and 10, for further hearing.

The suspects, however, pleaded not guilty to the charges.

Blood bath in Calabar as communities clash over human head for burial of high chief

No fewer than 10 persons have been reportedly killed following a clash between two neighbouring communities in Obubra Local Government Area of Cross River state. The clash was as a result of the death of a high chief.

According to Vanguard,  hostilities between the people of Ogwurude and their Oyidah neighbours, emanated from claims that certain young man’s buried body was decapitated for the high chief’s burial. While as many as 7 people from Oyidah were killed, two persons from Ogwurude also lost their lives in the fracas. Many houses were set ablaze in both communities.

Commenting on the incident, a resident, Clement Ekpe, said: “Some head hunters chased the okada boy, who was returning from Oyidah Market with a lady and caught up with him at Ogwurude Junction. “They asked the lady to run into the bush, killed the boy and cut off his head. “When the lady got home and narrated what happened, some Ogwurude youths rushed to the junction, where they found the headless body of the young man.

“They followed the bloodstains on the road to Oyidah community.

“They informed Oyidah’s Village Head about the incident and asked that those who carried out the act be brought out and handed over to the police.

“However, the Village Head could not produce the perpetrators and that led to a reprisal attack that night from the Ogwurude people,” Ekpe added. Confirming the incident, the state security adviser, Mr. Jude Ngaji, said “Efforts are on to hold meetings with leaders of both communities to find lasting solution to the conflict.

“Security operatives have been deployed to the area and peace has returned to the feuding communities.”

Obama shares an unbelievable secret about First Lady Michelle...

Barack Obama has made a surprising admission about his wife Michelle. The outgoing American president who heaped praises on his wife during his last public address in Chicago this month described the first lady as reluctant to be thrust into the limelight.

In an exclusive interview with CBS’s 60 Minutes, he said Michelle never fully took to the scrutiny and that even though she’s thrived as first lady, being in the public eye wasn't really her preference.

Mr Obama, 55, said that Michelle, 52, was glad that he ran for president, because she knew that he wanted to serve the American public. However, she sometimes wished that he had done it at another point in their lives.

A man’s brutally honest ‘sick note’ wins him worldwide respect

Most people would be far too chicken to tell their employers straight up that they’re too pissed to go into work but one man from Australia, Blake, has become the exception that proves the rule.
His explanation for why he wasn’t turning up to his job at a pizzeria in Queensland was so brutally honest that it ended up winning him worldwide adulation.

Basically, he had spent the day drinking and betting on the races with his friends when he realised that he was too drunk to work.

The message reads:

"It is with bittersweet emotion that I must inform you all that Gaslight is closed tonight, I am at the Magic Millions on the Gold Coast and a horse that I have a share in has just won a big race and I have had a few drinks and cannot make it back into work. I also do not have adequate backup in the culinary department and do not want to disappoint all of my regular, loyal customers with food that does not have my personal approval. I realize this is highly unprofessional and i have not taken the decision lightly. Rest assured that Gaslight will be open tomorrow for business as usual and i hope you will continue to support us in the future . Once again i apologize and have a great day, even though it cant be made greater by eating at gaslight. Blake"

Fortunately for him no one seemed to mind. Most of the comments from customers congratulated him on his win, with one man saying ‘This is the best’ and another simply adding, ‘Legend’.

LOL! Try this in Nigeria...LOL!

This Woman says she can’t get a job because she’s too beautiful

Marie Buchan, from Selly Oak in Birmingham, dreams of becoming a mechanic but is unable to find a job because men keep trying it on with her. The 37-year-old, who is a mother-of-eight, said when she is approached by garages to conduct work experience they are often ‘looking for something more’ and ‘not really after [her] working there’.

Ms Buchan and her 8 kids
She made headlines when she appeared on This Morning and said she preferred saving her care worker wages for a boob job than using it for her family because ‘child tax credits and working tax credits pay for the kids’. Ms Buchan, a former lapdancer, previously worked as a carer to help with the £6,000 cut in her yearly benefits said she realised she was worse off working.

Marie says she wants to try and put a stop to sexism in the car industry and prevent women from being ‘ripped off’ because of their gender.

Politics: Trump "Highly Likely" to Be Impeached Within 2 Years

With less than a week to go before Donald Trump takes office, an expert in American politics has come forward to state her belief that the 45th president of the United States will not see the end of his first term.

In an interview with The Independent, University of Manchester professor Angelia Wilson claimed that due to the numerous scandals Trump has faced since starting his campaign, he has become a "liability" and an "embarrassment" to the Republican party, which leaves him "vulnerable to impeachment" within his first two years in office.

"I think it is highly likely that he will be impeached in the first 12 to 18 months," Wilson said. "Whether it will be about the Russia dossier or other scandals that are undoubtedly there, he has become a liability for the Republican party. At some point they will need to distance themselves from him in order to solidify reelection for the House."

The professor went on to state that the decision to impeach Trump would ultimately come down to his policies (and relationship) with Russia.

However, other experts in U.S. politics told The Independent that, while impeachment wasn't out of the question, the Republican party will likely do whatever it can to give Trump a chance, due to the potential consequences and implications of a party ousting its own candidate.

"He will be president for four years, period," political science professor Terrence Casey said. "Unless he decides to go away, or is impeached, then you can't get rid of him."

God's Word For Today: To be Faithful is to be Successful

‘Well done, good and faithful servant.’ - Matthew 25:23

God wants you to succeed in life (see Joshua 1:8) and He will give you the tools, strategies, and relationships necessary for success.

David started out as a lowly shepherd boy, but God made him King of Israel. The Bible says, ‘In everything he did he had great success, because the LORD was with him’ (1 Samuel 18:14 NIV 2011 Edition). But God’s definition of success is very different from the world’s definition. Former US Senator Mark Hatfield tells of touring Calcutta with Mother Teresa. They visited the ‘House of Dying’ where sick children are cared for in their last days, and the dispensary where the poor line up by the hundreds to receive medical attention. Watching Mother Teresa minister to these people, feeding and nursing those left by others to die, Hatfield was overwhelmed by the magnitude of the suffering she and her co-workers faced daily. ‘How can you bear the load without being crushed beneath it?’ he asked. Mother Teresa replied, ‘My dear Senator, I am not called to be successful, I am called to be faithful.’

Some of us are called to serve in the limelight while others are called to serve in the shadows. Some are privileged to receive the world’s accolades and rewards, but most of us aren’t. Should we be discouraged? Not for a moment! With God, faithfulness counts as success.

One day when you’ll stand before God you will hear these words: ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your Lord.’

2017...Going...Going...

And 2017 is already rolling by.

Happy New Year!, everyone. Sorry its coming late, but hey!, better late than never, right?. Seems like yesterday we said "merry christmas" and then attended watchnight/crossover service and then said "happy new year" and Its already the 15th of January, 2017. Before we know it, 2017 would've ended and then it'll be 2018 and then 2019 and then the much talked about 2020.

Anyways, its not about how fast the year is running, its about whats being achieved as the days/weeks/months roll by. I'm blessed to have attended Christ Embassy Church's watchnight service and it was really beautiful. This year's message is titled "The Year of Flourishing" and so far, it really has been the year of flourishing in my life all to God's glory.

Looking back to and reflecting on how 2016 started and then how it ended, its a testimony how things played out. Imagine starting out a year jobless, penniless, "baeless"/"booless" LOL!, and all you've got is just "hope". Hope that one of the companies/organizations you've applied for a job at will get back to you with a job offer, hope that you don't starve, hope that those side business deals you've invested time and energy in marketing will yield positive fruits, hope that your bank account goes from reading red to reading and beeping green, hope that you meet that person your heart desires as a life partner, etc...Hope..........and then just when you don's see it coming, things begin to take a turn around for your good and your prayers are being answered and testimonies in your life are piling up to God's glory . Its one good news or the other and whats more?, its way better than you imagined and prayed for.

Time and time again, I'm sure you've heard, "its not about how far, its how well". Giving up is never an option. For those of you who have thought of giving up and not trying anymore, DONT!. your turnaround is here. You just gotta BELIEVE.

Before I bore y'al out with all these talks and all, be reminded that Naija Vampire Blog is back!. Yeah, I didn't blog for a while and was literally silent. My apologies. Being on planet earth requires that nature throws certain things at you that you can't seem to avoid, so you kinda have to go with the flow and somehow find that balance and apply it to everything you're involved in so nothing suffers and gets/feels neglected by you, be it those around you or the things that matter to you.

Until next post, keep it real, guys! 👍

God's Word For Today: God's Always a Step Ahead

For nine-year-old Keith Pulles, winterizing the family swimming pool signaled the end of summer. He writes: ‘I watched glumly from the window as Dad opened a jug and started dumping chemicals into the pool. Then he got another jug and added more stuff. “That’s a lot of stuff to put into the pool,” I thought. Just then the phone rang and I ran to check the caller ID. “Unknown name, unknown number.” Mom and Dad had warned me about talking to strangers, but that day a voice inside said, “Pick it up!” The urge was so strong I lifted the receiver and said hello. “May I speak with Steve Pulles, please?” I didn’t recognize the voice. Probably a telemarketer, but something made me say, “Hang on. I’ll go get him.” I went outside, phone in hand, and shouted, “Dad! Phone!” He walked around the side of the garage from the backyard and took the cordless phone from me. “Hello? Hello? Who’s calling?” he hollered. A couple of seconds later he took the phone from his ear and turned it off. “Nobody there,” he said. Suddenly there was an enormous boom from the back yard. “The pool!” Dad shouted. It turned out he’d mixed two chemicals he shouldn’t have. The mixture exploded out of the water, leaving toxic fumes…if Dad had been out there at that moment he could have died. Unknown caller? I don’t think so. The person on the phone that day certainly had our number.’ The psalmist said, ‘No evil will conquer you; no plague will come near your home.’

Today, God’s protecting you and your loved ones. Amen

God"s Word For Today: Don’t Just Pray - BELIEVE!

It is customary for Naija Vampire to always share God's Word first before any post. Some may wonder why I do this. I will explain in the next post. For now, let's soak in God's Word For Today, hoping that today's word reaches into and touches you, giving your life more meaning.

‘Whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.’ - Mark 11:24.

One of the dangers in praying is not expecting God to answer.

The Bible says, ‘Without faith no one can please God. We must believe…God is real and…He rewards everyone who searches for him’ (Hebrews 11:6 CEV). The only currency God trades in is faith, and ‘faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God’ (Romans 10:17 KJV).

As you immerse yourself in Scripture, faith takes root and begins to grow. And faith is what makes your prayers effective. But what if your faith lines up with God’s Word and the answer is delayed? Keep praying and believing! ‘Do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised’ (Hebrews 10:35-36 NIV 2011 Edition).

When a rural farming community was hit by severe drought, the local church called a prayer meeting. Almost everybody in town showed up (interesting how trouble has a way of getting our attention). As the pastor stood before a packed church he noticed an eleven-year-old girl beaming with excitement in the front row. Lying on the pew beside her was a bright red umbrella poised and ready for use. The beauty and innocence of the sight made him smile, as he compared the child’s faith with that of all the others in the church. Looking at the congregation, he announced: ‘The rest of us came to pray for rain, but she came expecting God to answer!’

So don’t just pray - believe!
