Organisers have added controversial Nigeria-born American act, Jidenna to the list of top African musicians billed for the first ever Afrikcan Festival which comes up between July 21 to July 25, 2015.
Grammy award winner, Angelique Kidjo and Wizkid had earlier been named among performers. The highly rated Benin singer would be joined by Ivorian Reggae legend, Alpha Blondy, Black Coffee, Les Nubian and many others.

The festival, which is in celebration of African music, literature, fashion and food will take place at the Ramsey park in Boston, Massachusetts and organisers have also announced that American soul musician, Erykah Badu will play a part at the 5-day event.

Jidenna was in the eye of the storm over the weekend following his statement that he had to bring in commandos and several guns for the burial of his father due to the fear of being kidnapped
